Ingredients

  • 15 medium-sized loaves of Arabic bread
  • 2 large potatoes
  • Corn oil for frying
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 4 cloves of minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup of chopped parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1.1 pounds of ground beef
  • 2 green peppers, chopped
  • 2 large tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon each of mixed spices, cumin, and salt
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Start by prepping your ingredients: peel and slice the potatoes into thin rounds.
  2. Heat up some corn oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat and fry the potato slices until they’re golden and crispy.
  3. Next, prepare the meat mixture: heat up some olive oil in a pot over medium heat and add the ground beef. Stir until the water from the meat has evaporated.
  4. Add in the spices, onions, tomatoes, garlic, peppers, salt, parsley, cumin, and pepper. Let everything cook together until the meat is fully cooked.
